2023 Big Dog Tackle Battle for Cancer Tournament

The Big Dog Tackle Battle For Cancer Tournament is a 1 Day Tournament meant to be a Fun Family Fishing Day and also have a Serious Competitive Edge for Serious Tournament Fisher Men & Women. There are many Junior, Pee Wee, Mighty Might and Female Angler Prize Categories meant to encourage everyone to participate. It is an Angler Armory Sanctioned Tournament.

Racing for Cancer (R4C) is the named charity for this year’s fishing tournament. R4C was founded by South Florida resident and American race car driver Ryan Hunter-Reay after losing his mother to cancer several years ago. The goal is to simply beat cancer. R4C commits 100% of net proceeds to promote and launch early detection and prevention initiatives in the battle against cancer. Many of the recipients and programs created by the funding are based in South Florida. Ryan is the 2014 Indy 500 Champion, 2012 Indy Car Series Champion and a two-time ESPY award winner for best Driver on the World Overall in 2013 and 2014. Ryan is an avid race car driver in various competitions and an avid South Florida boater and fisherman. He will be joining us and competing along side us for the tournament.
